If you have running Windows VM, enable MAPS on VM can get a base protection
- run gpedit.msc
- Computer Configuration > Administrative template > Windows Components > Microsoft Windows Defender Antivirus > MAPS
- Join Micrsoft MAPS > Enable > Advanced MAPS
Test MAPS enable:
- powershell > get-mppreference
- check output ( MAPSReporting - "2")
