How to fix HP Laptop USB-C to monitor not working
As a laptop user, I rely heavily on the USB-C port to connect to external devices, such as monitors, for increased productivity. However, I recently encountered connectivity issues between my HP laptop and monitor, and had to troubleshoot the problem. In this blog post, I will share my experience and the solutions that helped me resolve the issue.
Firstly, I tried unplugging the monitor and performing a hard reset on my laptop by holding down the mute button (F5) and power button for 30 seconds. This method worked for me, and my laptop was able to reconnect to the monitor.
However, if this method doesn't work for others, I would recommend trying a different cable or adapter to connect the laptop to the monitor. It's possible that the cable or adapter is damaged or faulty, which can cause connectivity issues.
In addition, checking for driver updates for the USB-C port can also help resolve connectivity issues. Updating drivers can improve compatibility between the laptop and external devices, such as monitors.
